Musical Theatre for Ages 4 - 12+
In this Intro to Musical Theatre class, performers build confidence in a safe and nurturing environment, using music, movement, and drama. As an ensemble, they create a meaningful performance and dreams continue to form as students work with peers, find their own stage voice, develop skills in performance, storytelling, improvisation, and character development. All this while collaborating with fellow artists to create and perform in a showcase on the final class day.
Sometimes students feel behind or that it is too late to get started on a new activity.... this is the perfect class to get started and learn skills! If you are interested in auditioning for a CAPA Company or are a Company member that wants to continue to grow their talent and work to move to an advanced Company, you should consider this class.
No previous experience necessary.
Children who are exposed to the arts at a young age have magnificent cognitive results and an overall sense of self and well-being.

Advanced Musical Theatre
This Advanced Musical Theatre class is designed for passionate performers ready to deepen their craft in a focused and collaborative environment. Students will refine their skills in vocal performance, movement, acting, and storytelling while working as a cohesive ensemble. With an emphasis on character development, nuanced storytelling, and performance technique, students will take on challenging material that pushes them to grow as artists and collaborators as well as their “Book” of music for auditions.
Whether you're a current CAPA Company member seeking to elevate your technique, or you're preparing to audition for a more advanced Company level, this class offers the tools and training to support your next artistic step. Students will explore advanced improvisation, scene work, and musical interpretation as they work toward a showcase performance on the final day of class.
This is the ideal class for dedicated performers who are ready to strengthen their stage presence, expand their range, and work in an environment that encourages growth, risk-taking, and creative exploration.
Previous experience and CAPA approval required
