Improv for Ages 8 - adult
In this energetic and fun-filled class, students will dive into the foundational skills of improv. These aren’t just essential for performing improv theatre—they’ll also boost your actor’s confidence with any script they hold. Students will learn to listen actively, trust their scene partners, communicate clearly, and think beyond their individual roles to support the whole story. These are skills that go beyond the stage—they’re valuable in theatre and in life. And best of all? They’ll be laughing the whole time!
FAQ: I’ve already taken Improv—should I take it again? YES! Improv is a skill you build over time, not something you master in one class. Think of it like sports: even if you played last season, you still show up for practice with your new team. Every class brings fresh challenges, new partners, and a chance to grow.

Improvisational StorytellingÂ
It's time to take your acting off the page!
Just like in any great musical, musical improv takes scenes to the next level with spontaneous songs, catchy hooks, and bold group numbers. In this high-energy class, you’ll learn how to create improvised solos and ensemble pieces, explore rhyme structures, and build unforgettable musical moments—all on the spot.
No singing experience required—just a love for performing and a willingness to jump in! Highly recommended for students currently enrolled in Advanced Improv.  Prerequisite: Must have taken at least one improv class

When words fail . . . you SING!
BY INVITATION ONLY – This class builds on skills learned in previous improv classes, with a deeper focus on extended storytelling and character development. Rather than short-form games, students will work on creating longer one-act improvised plays.
*Select students from this class may also be invited to perform with Lucky Street Comedy.

Designed for adults, this improv class moves at a quicker pace than our youth sessions but still covers all the essential foundations—active listening, quick thinking, trust, and collaboration—while keeping the laughter going strong.
Whether you’re looking to sharpen your performance skills or just want to step out of your comfort zone, improv is a game-changer. You’ll build confidence, improve communication, and strengthen your ability to connect with others—on stage, at work, and in everyday life.
